1. Trade Only Service
This website and all services offered through it are strictly for trade customers. ClearPrint Malta does not sell to retail consumers or members of the public. By applying for a trade account, you confirm that you are a registered business, sole trader, or trade professional operating in the printing, garment decoration, signage, or related industry.
2. Print-Ready Artwork
All files submitted for production must be supplied as TIFF, on a fully transparent background, at 300 DPI, sized to the actual print dimensions, and mirrored for DTF application. PDF, PNG, JPG and other formats are not accepted because they introduce ambiguity around transparency, scale, and trapped white pixels that affect production quality and metre-based billing. The system automatically reads the alpha channel to detect the tightest bounding box around your artwork and bills accordingly. Maximum file size is 200 MB. ClearPrint Malta is not responsible for errors in artwork supplied by the customer and does not offer design services through this platform. If a file does not meet specifications, it is rejected at upload or flagged before production.
3. White Underbase (DTF)
Customers may supply the white underbase as a dedicated spot-colour channel within the TIFF, in which case it is printed exactly as authored. Where no spot channel is supplied, ClearPrint Malta generates the underbase free of charge based on the alpha channel of the artwork. In that case the customer must declare the garment colour the transfer is intended to be applied to at order time, so the underbase density and choke can be tuned appropriately. Orders submitted without a garment colour, where the underbase is to be generated, will be held until that information is provided.
4. Billing & Measurement
Pricing is charged per linear (running) metre of roll consumed, never per square metre. Maximum print width is 58cm on the 60cm DTF roll and 28cm on the 30cm UV DTF roll. A 5mm gap is added between jobs and a 5mm side margin is reserved each side of the roll for cutting; both are included in the linear metres billed. The system computes the metres consumed as (trimmed artwork height + 5mm gap) × quantity, rounded to the nearest millimetre. Quoted totals are binding once the order is placed.
5. Payment Terms
All orders must be paid in full before production begins unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing. Payment is accepted via the methods specified in your account. Trade account holders may request credit terms after an initial period of trading. Credit terms, if approved, are at the sole discretion of ClearPrint Malta and may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Dispatch & Delivery
Same day dispatch is available for eligible print-ready, paid orders up to 25 metres received before 12:00 Malta time (CET). Orders between 25 and 100 metres are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Orders exceeding 100 metres require a scheduled production slot with dispatch dates agreed before acceptance. These timelines are targets and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to production load, file issues, or logistics.
7. Shipping
Shipping is calculated separately and is not included in the metre price unless explicitly stated. Shipping rates are determined by the customer's approved account country and are visible after login. Malta customers may arrange collection or local delivery. European shipping is via courier and rates vary by destination and order weight. ClearPrint Malta is not liable for delays caused by courier services or customs processes.
8. Claims & Reprints
If you receive a transfer that is defective due to a production error, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will review the claim and, if accepted, offer a reprint or credit at our discretion. Claims are not accepted for issues arising from incorrect artwork, improper application, or damage during shipping unless shipping insurance was purchased.
9. Confidentiality & No Poaching
All files, artwork, and customer information submitted through this platform are treated as strictly confidential. ClearPrint Malta does not share, distribute, or use your files for any purpose other than fulfilling your order. We do not contact, market to, or solicit your end customers. We do not compete with your garment decoration or printing business. This commitment is fundamental to our trade supply model.
10. Liability
ClearPrint Malta's liability is limited to the value of the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Transfers are sold for professional trade use and it is the customer's responsibility to test suitability for their specific application and substrates.
11. Account Suspension
ClearPrint Malta reserves the right to suspend or terminate any trade account at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of non-payment, misuse of the platform, or breach of these terms. Account holders will be notified of any suspension.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
